IHC summons NDMA officials over Murree tragedy petition

ISLAMABAD, : Islamabad High Court (IHC) conducted a hearing on the petition filed against the responsible personnel for Murree incident.

During the hearing, Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that NDMA is such a huge department, have they even held a meeting. There must have been a proper management plan to avoid any incident like Murree tragedy”, Chief Justice added.

The IHC also summoned the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) officials on immediate basis.
