ID Cards to be issued, renewed at UC level: Mohsin Naqvi

Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, visited the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) headquarters on Friday. He presided over a significant meeting when a number of recommendations to improve NADRA’s user experience were addressed.

A number of noteworthy resolutions were reached to aid the populace, such as offering identity card issuance and renewal services at the union council level throughout Pakistan. Nationwide union council levels will also have biometric machines installed.

Within a few days, Mohsin Naqvi gave the order to finish identity card issuance and renewal at the union council level. He also looked for a way to improve, streamline, and ensure the security of the Identity Card system.

He stressed the necessity of a strategy that would make visiting NADRA centres easier.
