I did more development work than done in seventy years in Saraiki Wasib: Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani 

Khangarh: History is a witness that only I made a sincere struggle for a separate Saraiki province and I had to pay a great sacrifice for this struggle, said former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in a meeting with the Chairman of Seraikistan Youth Movement Mahar Mazhar Abbas Kaat.  Mahar Mazhar Abbas Kaat had a special meeting with the former Prime Minister at Gilani House and discussed the current political situation including Siraiki Wasib. During the one-year government, I did more than seventy years of development work in Saraiki Wasib and raised an effective voice in the Assembly of Saraiki Province and also got the bill passed by the Senate.

I was sent and this self-imposed punishment will not be given to me, but to millions of oppressed people of the entire Saraiki region for whom I was creating a separate province.  And neither would the oppressed people of Saraiki and Waseeb be expelled like this nor be a separate province Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that I was supposed to solve the sewage problem of Multan in the last year but unfortunately I was removed and till today this important problem of Multan has not been solved.  Mahar Mazhar Abbas Kaat paid tribute to the exemplary services of the former prime minister for Saraiki province and Saraiki Wasib and said that every educated youth of Saraiki Wasib will put in his efforts when he sees the development works.  I can’t live without giving because you have done so many important works in Wasib apart from your constituency.
