Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, stated on Thursday that the government has written a new chapter in bilateral cooperation by hosting the Pakistan-China Business Forum in Shenzhen. He added that in the upcoming months, Pakistan would invite Chinese businesses to Pakistan in retaliation for the model.
The highly attended Business Forum aimed at tangible, targeted, substantive, and result-oriented economic cooperation with a focus on attracting and facilitating Chinese investments in 13 export-oriented sectors within Pakistan, according to the deputy prime minister during his speech at the 4th Pakistan-China Friendship and Business event here.
He reported to the assembly that more than 400 Chinese businesspeople and businesses were successfully rallied by Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, and his team.
