Govt working to increase country’s IT exports: PM

According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the administration is making increasing the nation’s IT exports a top goal.
He was speaking with a four-person team from the Global System for Mobile Communications Association, which paid him a visit in Islamabad today. The trip was led by Julian Gorman, the GSMA’s Head of Asia Pacific.
According to him, the federal government has set aside a record amount of money for the growth and promotion of the telecom and IT industries in the current fiscal year.
According to the prime minister, his government believes that every individual should own a smartphone, every home should have broadband internet, and every business should offer QR code functionality.
According to Shehba, the goal is to guarantee that the average person has improved access to the internet.
