Govt to use media for public good: Punjab CM

“Television has made the world a global village and we are determined to use television and other media for development and public good,” stated Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in her remarks on Thursday in honour of globe Television Day.
“Television is an effective source of education, entertainment, and awareness, and it is a significant source of information,” she continued. “Television has brought revolutionary changes in every sector,” she emphasised.

“Television is a powerful medium for highlighting social issues, public awareness, and social harmony,” the chief minister stated. Social transformations have been made possible by television in both wealthy and underdeveloped nations.
“TV has played an important role in presenting entertainment and information,” she emphasised.
She went on to say, “Using television as a teaching and learning tool can bring about positive change.”
