On Tuesday, Murtaza Solangi, the federal minister for information, broadcasting, and parliamentary affairs, gave the Senate the assurance that the House’s recommendations will be followed by the administration with regard to the pay and benefits of all government employees, including those from Balochistan. During question hour, the minister addressed concerns raised by the parliamentarians over the low number of Balochistani officers in federal positions. The minister suggested that policy be developed and that suggestions be made if any unfairness was felt. In response to inquiries from Senators Fauzia Arshad, Mohsin Aziz, and Danesh Kumar, he expressed his appreciation for the recommendations made by Senate colleagues concerning the application of zig zag technology for brick production in rural regions.
