Govt. to extend cooperation, resources to ECP for free, fair elections: PM

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the caretaker prime minister, reaffirmed on Tuesday that the transitional administration would do everything within its power to support the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and guarantee that it receives the  resources it needs to conduct free, fair, and transparent elections  across the nation. According to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing, the  prime minister shared these opinions with Chief Election  Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja when they met at the PM  House. The prime minister was briefed by the chief election commissioner  of the ECP’s preparations for the nation’s impending general  elections. He extended an invitation to the acting prime minister to visit ECP  in order to discuss these actions.
