Govt to digitalize registration system of pesticides: Rana Tanveer

Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Minister for National Food Security and Research, announced on Sunday that more fumigation businesses will be added and that a comprehensive plan would be developed to enhance the fumigation system.

Speaking with Dr. Tariq Khan, the Director General of Plant Protection, he stated, “The Plant Protection Department plays a significant role in the agriculture sector.”

The minister was given an update on the department’s operations, results, and difficulties by the Director General of Plant Protection.

Speaking at the event, Rana Tanveer stated, “Efforts will be made to develop a comprehensive strategy to further improve the performance of the department, and it will be brought up to high standards, ensuring its operations meet top quality benchmarks.”
