Govt to convene APC on Operation Azm-e-Istehkam: Tarar

According to Attaullah Tarar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the administration is effectively putting its priorities—namely, ensuring an efficient tax system, digitising FBR, and privatising state-owned enterprises—into practice.
Speaking at a press conference, he stated that the Prime Minister had given the order to add tax-paying non-filers to the tax system. He noted that without using a single dollar from the public coffers, the digitalization of the Federal Register is proceeding with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
He predicted that Pakistan International Airlines’ privatisation will shortly come to an expeditious end.
Attaullah Tarar commented on the government’s successful foreign policy, saying that the prime minister had loudly emphasised Pakistan’s potential for investment and commerce with Russia and the Central Asian states.
