Govt taking all possible measures to eliminate terrorism: Info Minister

According to Attaullah Tarar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the administration is doing everything within its power to eradicate terrorism from the nation.

In response to a call for attention made by Nikhat Shakeel Khan and others, he stated that the National Action Plan is being review and that the province governments are receiving the utmost amount of assistance possible in the fight against terrorism.
He noted that in addition to conducting intelligence-based operations, the administration is working to eradicate terrorism from Pakistani territory.

The Minister stated that the federal government is fully assisting the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in enhancing the capabilities of the department responsible for counterterrorism on a provincial level.
Additionally, he told the House that the prime minister has received assurances from the chief minister of Sindh to build a secure city network.
