Govt striving to increase foreign investment in country: PM

On Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a visit from a delegation of MCC Tongsin Resources, a Chinese company, headed by Chairman Wang Jaichen. The delegation was extended an invitation to invest in Pakistan’s mining industry and export goods production.
The Prime Minister greeted the Chinese enterprise and announced that the government is working to boost foreign investment in the nation on a priority basis.
The prime minister gave the delegation his word that his administration will fully support the enterprise with everything from processing and resource discovery to exporting goods.

He gave the pertinent federal ministries and authorities the go-ahead to carry on their discussions with the Chinese company, involving the chief minister of Balochistan, provincial departments, and other necessary parties.

The members of the delegation trusted the prime minister’s judgement.
