On Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the laborious efforts of his administration to attain sustainable economic growth through increased industrialization and productivity.
In his opening remarks at the federal cabinet meeting he chaired, the prime minister mentioned his meeting with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Dubai, who praised team Pakistan for its excellent work in carrying out the IMF program and cooperatively meeting economic indicators.
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the IMF chief’s commendation of the Pakistani economic team’s commitment to carrying out the IMF program was heartening.
He continued by saying that the nation saw a sharp increase in overseas remittances, indicating the confidence of Pakistanis living abroad.
