Govt pursuing reforms agenda for economic growth: PM

The government, according to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is assiduously pursuing the reform agenda in order to guide the nation away from current difficulties and onto a path of economic progress.

He stated that the reform programme, which includes solarizing tubewells, is a quantum leap and will set the nation on the path of sustainable growth while speaking to the Balochistan cabinet in Quetta today.

According to the prime minister, in order to reduce dependency on costly electricity and fuel, the government intends to switch over a million tubewells nationwide to solar power.

He stated that the provinces will work together to finish this project. He announced that 28, 000 agricultural tub wells in Balochistan would be converted to solar power.

The project, which will cost fifty-five billion rupees, will be finished in three months, according to the prime minister.
