Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the leader of the PML-N’s Senate legislative group and a crucial part of the government’s negotiation team, praised the ongoing PTI-government discussions on Monday, highlighting their significance in bringing about political stability and resolving Pakistan’s economic issues.
“They are going into the talks with an open mind and heart, putting aside past grievances,” he said, expressing hope about the negotiations.
According to him, the administration and PTI are having friendly talks and both parties have indicated that they are open to having meaningful conversations.
He stated that PTI has consented to submit its “Charter of Demands” during the upcoming round of negotiations, which is set for January 2.
