Murtaza Solangi, the federal minister for information, broadcasting, and parliamentary affairs, announced on Friday that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would make its action plan public in accordance with the law and the Constitution. Speaking to the reporters outside the ECP, he stated that the Election Commission was the only constitutional authority tasked with holding national elections in accordance with Article 218(3) of the document. “We neither can question the Election Commission, nor we can supervise it, in fact, the Election Commission supervises the caretaker government,” Murtaza Solangi insisted. According to Murtaza Solangi, all parties who have registered are given equal opportunities by the administration. He advised everyone to get in touch with the Election Commission if they had any complaints about the ECP.
