Dr. Jamal Nasir, Punjab’s Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Population Welfare, stated on Sunday that the government is working to uphold law and order and that 2,200 Closed Circle Television (CCTV) cameras are being installed at 306 locations throughout Rawalpindi to help with the situation. 300 labourers were working day and night to finish the Safe City project, he revealed during a visit to the City Police Office to assess the ongoing work of the project. He stated that 2200 cameras would be placed at 306 locations as part of the Safe City project, and that Rs 230 million had been set out for the building of the CPO office.
