Govt committed to support fertilizer industry: Tanveer

According to Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister of Industries and Production, the government is dedicated to assisting the fertiliser sector in order to uplift farmers.

Under the direction of Chairman Ghulam Ahmed, a delegation from the All Pakistan Fertiliser Dealers Association paid him a visit in Islamabad.

The Minister was informed by the delegation of the retailers’ worries regarding the application of sales withholding tax.

In order to promote the fertiliser business, the Fertiliser Dealers Association delegation also asked the Minister of Industries and Production for assistance in bringing up the issue with the appropriate authorities.

Speaking at the event, Rana Tanveer Hussain told the group that the government’s primary objective is expanding the tax base in order to raise money for the nation.
