Gillani for forming Senate Standing Committees

On Friday, Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani gave the order to settle the Senate Standing Committees’ formation dispute as soon as possible to guarantee the committees’ ability to carry out their mandates.

The House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC), which he was chairing, held in-depth discussions about the legislative business that the Senate’s 339th Session would be handling.

Other significant concerns will be covered in the session. The HBAC resolved to extend the present meeting through June 21, 2024.

Senator Syedal Khan, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Irfan ul Haq Siddiqui, Senator Atta ur Rehman, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Hidayatullah Khan, and Minister of Law and Justice Muhammad Azam Nazir Tarar were among those present at the meeting.
