Giani, Ayaz reaffirm commitment to strengthen legislative institutions

Both Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq have underlined their dedication to bolstering the primacy of legislative institutions.

They underlined that the Speaker’s role is impartial, acting as a trustworthy platform to give the government, allies, and opposition equal chances and managing conflicts when needed.

Speaking at a joint news conference to wrap up the two-day 18th Speaker Conference, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq outlined the meeting’s accomplishments and thanked the Senate Chairman and all Speakers for their enthusiastic involvement.

He underlined that a unanimous proclamation had been made, expressing a common understanding of the importance of Pakistan’s Constitution and legal system.
