GB’s development top priority: Amir Muqam

Amir Muqam, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer, stated that the Federal Government’s top goal was the growth and prosperity of Gilgit Baltistan and that all recently announced projects by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would soon begin advance work.

In a meeting held here on Monday, Haji Gulbar Khan, the Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan, stated that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) would be constituted shortly in order to maintain the state of law and order in GB.

The minister emphasised that the current administration was dedicated to initiating large-scale projects to boost tourism and increase citizens’ local mobility.

Waseem Ajmal, the federal secretary, attended the conference as well.
