Future looks bright: DPM Dar

Addressing a gathering at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar considered the long-term advantages of stock market integration, which started nine years ago, pointing out that the markets had developed into a solid economic base.
He recognized the difficulties brought on by the political unrest and subsequent economic slump in 2017. During the COVID-19 outbreak, DPM Dar also emphasized the risk of economic collapse that nations faced worldwide.
DPM Dar informed business executives that the “future looked bright” and cautioned them against spreading hopelessness. He admitted that Pakistan’s diplomatic isolation had ended and that foreign investors now had greater faith in the country, attributing the country’s economic survival to PM Shehbaz’s leadership.
