Free visa for Turkish nationals start Wednesday: Naqvi

Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pacaci met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the Ministry of Interior.

The bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey, as well as topics of shared interest, were thoroughly discussed at the meeting.

In addition, all parties decided to strengthen their collaboration in the areas of civil armed forces, law enforcement, and security. As part of the exchange program, it was also planned to send Pakistani police officers to Turkey for training.

At the event, the minister announced that Turkish nationals will be able to apply for free online visas starting on August 14 of this year. He continued by saying that visiting Pakistan will now be considerably simpler for his Turkish brothers and sisters.

He declared that, at the Turkish government’s invitation, he will travel to Turkey in October.
