Four ‘terrorists’ gunned down in Lahore

According to CTD on Sunday, four “terrorists” who killed police officers were shot and killed by their accomplices.

A representative for the Counter-Terrorism Department stated that the squad brought the terrorists under arrest to Karol Jungle in order to retrieve their weapons. The squad found two pistols and hand grenades after identifying Faizan Butt.

Four of the terrorists were shot dead when five or six of them started firing against the police team. The CTD spokesperson stated that Faizan Butt was connected to the banned group, and the identification process for the other three shot dead victims was still in progress.

The region was searched in an effort to apprehend the terrorists who were escaping.
