Foreigner students’ delegation meets VC NMU

Multan: A delegation of foreign students studying in Nishtar Medical University met Vice
Chancellor Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed. During the meeting, a
detailed discussion about the challenges faced by the students including educational and
teaching activities. Associate Professor Dr. Saima Ashraf and Dr. Atiqur Rehman were also
present on this occasion along with Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University. Vice Chancellor
Nishtar Medical University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed assured the members of the
delegation of his full cooperation in all matters. Later, Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical
University Professor Dr. Rana Altaf Ahmed visited the important department like Biomedical
Engineering along with MS Nishtar Hospital Dr. Rao Amjad Ali Khan and got awareness about
the facilities and working in the department and their role appreciated, Professor Dr. Rana Altaf
Ahmed also visited the Department of Psychiatry and made a detailed review of the medical
facilities provided in the department. On this occasion, he also met the faculty members and
congratulated the postgraduate students who passed the IMM examination in the subject of
psychiatry organized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He also congratulated
Professor Dr. Naeemullah Laghari, Assistant Professor Dr. Hafiz Shafiqullah and other faculty
members for achieving hundred percent results in the IMM exam and wished them to achieve
such excellent results in the future as well.
