BEIJING: China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a strategic connection, according to caretaker prime minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, who also described the project as a “catalyst of growth, poverty alleviation, and job creation” on Tuesday. “CPEC is a shining example of development and prosperity. “It is not only an economic corridor, but also a symbol of strategic trust between Pakistan and China,” he stated while addressing delegates from prominent Chinese think tanks and academic institutions. During his official visit to China for the Belt and Road Forum, Prime Minister Kakar stated that the CPEC has improved modern infrastructure, increased regional connectivity, and guaranteed energy security, all of which have completely changed Pakistan’s socioeconomic landscape.
