FIA plays a vital role in homeland security: Interior Minister

On Thursday, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) headquarters was visited by Interior Secretary Aftab Akbar Durrani and Federal Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ijaz. The Minister was greeted by Senior Agency Officials and Director  General FIA Ahmad Ishaq Jahangir upon his arrival at the Agency’s headquarters. The Minister was informed on institutional challenges while  presiding over a high-level gathering of FIA officials. Attending the meeting were all of the FIA’s senior executives,  directors, and additional director generals. The Federal Minister was given a report on the annual  performance of each wing during the briefing. The minister complimented Wings on his efforts and stated that the FIA plays a critical leadership role in homeland security and safety. It is good to see the modernization of FIA projects getting underway.
