Federal cabinet renews support for Palestinians — approves online visa application system for citizens of 126 countries

In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday, the federal cabinet passed a resolution endorsing Israel’s acts of barbarism, calling for the opening of war crimes investigations, and restating support for the Palestinian people.

“During its meeting, the federal cabinet approved the implementation of an online visa application system for citizens of 126 countries, with the goal of promoting commercial and investment ventures as well as the tourism industry. According to the press release, “the citizens of these 126 countries would receive free visa processing fees and would be eligible for business and tourist visas within 24 hours of applying under the new system.”

Additionally, the government approved the creation of a distinct subcategory within the visa on arrival program to facilitate Sikh Yatrees holding passports from third countries.
