Federal cabinet again defers decision to ban PTI

The decision by the federal cabinet to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and use Article 6 against Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, Dr. Arif Alvi, the former deputy speaker of the National Assembly, and Qasim Suri has been postponed.
Before making a choice, the government is said to have conferred with the Pakistan People’s Party and other coalition partners.
According to sources, following deliberation, the issue pertaining to the PTI ban will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.
Today, while presiding over a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed sadness over the PTI’s propaganda campaign against Pakistan’s armed services, stating that it would not be accepted in any way.
He underlined that our armed services have made tremendous sacrifices and that we must band together to combat such hostile activities
