Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed won the noble peace prize for 2019.

According to the international organization awarded the noble prize to the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed

The Nobel Peace Prize was presented to the Ethiopian PM by Berit Reiss-Andersen, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

He has been awarded this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation and in ‘particular for his decisive initiative to resolve the border conflict with neighboring Eritrea’, the Nobel Prize announced on Twitter.
