Envoys present credentials to President

At a credential ceremony on Monday at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the ambassadors of the Kyrgyz Republic, State of Palestine, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Uzbekistan, Kenya, and the Republic of Turkiye gave President Asif Ali Zardari their diplomatic credentials.

Avazbek Atakhanov, the ambassador-designate of the Kyrgyz Republic; Dr. Zuhair Mohammad Hamdallah Zaid, the ambassador-designate of the State of Palestine; Choe Chang Man, the ambassador-designate of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; Alisher Tukhtaey, the ambassador-designate of Uzbekistan; Lt Gen (Retd) Peter Mbogo Njiru, the High Commissioner-designate of Kenya; and Irfan Neziroglu, the ambassador-designate of Turkiye, also met with the president separately.

The president congratulated them on their appointment and hoped they would contribute to further strengthening ties between Pakistan and the United States.
