At the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28), Minister of Energy Mr. Muhammad Ali took part in a discussion between the Pakistani government and Renewable Energy Investors, which was arranged by the Renewable Energy Alliance (GRA). According to a statement from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) here on Monday, the Minister of Energy led a group from Pakistan to discuss the investment potential for renewable energy in Pakistan. Opportunities pertaining to geothermal, wind, solar, hydel, and green hydrogen were showcased. The investors expressed a strong desire to fund multiple projects in Pakistan. It was further stated that Abdallah Alshamali of the Global Solar Council, Debbie Grey, the International Hydropower Association’s manager of climate policy, Ana Rovzar, the GRA’s director of policy and public affairs, and analyst Simran Sinha represented GRA.
