A significant development in Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts has occurred with the acceptance of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s invitation for Emirs of Kuwait and Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, respectively, to visit Pakistan.
The prime minister was handed with letters from the ambassadors of Kuwait and Qatar on Sunday, at separate meetings, attesting to their respective countries’ acceptance of the invitation to visit Pakistan.
During a meeting, Kuwait’s ambassador, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Al-Mutairi, gave the prime minister a letter from the country’s emir, inviting him to visit Pakistan on the dates that were mutually agreed upon.
