Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) preparations in full swing

The preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) are in full swing across the country.

Special programmes are being finalized to highlight the glaring aspects of the life of the holy Prophet
Mohammad (PBUH). Mosques, government and private buildings, markets, shopping centres and roads are being decorated
with green buntings, flags and colorful lights, PTV news reported.

Various social, educational institutions and religious organizations are organizing their programmes for
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor.

International Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conference will be held at Alhamra Art Center in Lahore on Monday (tomorrow), under aegis of Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs department.

Topic of this year’s conference is “Khatam-e-Nabuwwat and Responsibilities of Muslims- in the light of teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)”.

During the event, prizes will be distributed among the writers on Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH) and Naat collections printed during last one year, Radio Pakistan reported.

In this connection, a three day exhibition of books on Seerat-e-Tayyaba, Islamiyat and Pakistani at will also begin.

The annual all Pakistan Naat competition jointly organized by Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) will be held on Monday at Bukhari Auditorium, National Broadcasting House.

Mosques, government and private buildings, markets, shopping centres and roads are being decorated with green buntings, flags and colourful lights.

Various social, educational institutions and religious organizations are organizing their programmes for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervour.

The Sikh, Hindu and Christian communities of the twin cities of have announced to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi with full fervour to express unity with Muslim Ummah.

The members of the minorities’ communities will take out processions and attend Mehfil-e-Milad, said leaders of non-Muslim communities Ashok Chand, Sardar Ashish Singh, Elder Shehzad Bhatti and Jibran Gul while expressing their thoughts in Express Forum.

They said that Christian, Sikh and Hindu communities will participate in the procession of Milad.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is Rehmatullil Alameen a blessing for all the universes, therefore Holy Prophet’s birth should be celebrated by all, the representatives of the minorities said.
