‘Efforts afoot to ensure transparency in free flour supply’

Kot Addu: Assistant Commissioner Kot Adu Muhammad Asghar Iqbal Laghari has said that the government is providing free government flour at fixed points, the process of providing flour at separate counters for women and men is going on, providing all possible facilities to the people, he said while talking to the media. He said that more than 22,000 free bags of flour are being distributed on a daily basis at 9 points across the tehsil where they are providing all possible facilities to the people according to the available resources; he said that there were complaints on some centers which have been removed. While there are also complaints of taut mafia collecting ID cards of people and receiving free flour, people should not give their ID cards to anyone, the Assistant Commissioner said that some simple people ask private shopkeepers for their ID cards. Shopkeepers go to check their messages. Names appear in flour bags, if one of them takes the flour, then the names of the rest of the family members are also received in the app. A super login system has been made for this, now the ID card that will not be scanned will be scanned manually.
