Khangarh: Acting DPO Muzaffargarh Rehan-ul-Rasool Afghan yesterday conducted a surprise inspection of the free government flour distribution point in Khangarh and ensured transparent supply of flour under his own supervision
He told the people who came to receive free government flour that the supply of free flour continues on a daily basis while a large quota of flour is being given by the Punjab Govt and there will be no shortage. Shaded tents and comfortable chairs have been installed at the point for all women, while several counters have been set up for tokens. All women are patient and respectful. Collect free government flour in a respectable manner and avoid loss of life and property by any haste.
He said that the best security is being provided by the police force, in case of any complaints, the concerned police station or I can be contacted directly. Legal action will be taken against any wrong -doings.
On this occasion, he also met senior journalist Malik Rizwan ur Rehman and President Press Club Khangarh Mahar Rashid Naseer Sial and asked that the media should cover the point and delivery of free government flour. Point out any complaints, strict notice will be taken on pointing them out. On this occasion, the media team including Qazi Muhammad Azam, Saqlain Thahim, Masroor Ahmed, Baqir Khan was also present. While Assistant Commissioner Muzaffargarh Nasir Shehzad Dogar ended the ongoing strike by Municipality Khangarh and Municipality employees also took flour.
