Distressed Pakistani students reach home

The first flight, with 180 passengers, has arrived in Lahore; nevertheless, the situation that has just developed in Kyrgyzstan has placed the students at risk.
The Lahore Airport received the landing of flight KA-571.

At the airport, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi greeted the students, accompanied by the Chief Operating Officer and numerous other high-ranking officials.
Separate counters have been set up in the international arrival area for passengers arriving on the flight, according to airport manager Nazir Ahmad Khan. The FIA has also been given orders to ensure that students and passengers from Bishkek are cleared in a timely manner.
According to sources, two different flights that arrive in Lahore and the capital tomorrow will also deliver 360 students who are stuck in Kyrgyzstan.
