Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the state minister for information technology and telecommunication, stated on Tuesday that digital technologies are important for the modern economy.
During her address at the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit, she emphasised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government’s steadfast dedication to promoting digital transformation across the country.
“We are actively pursuing various initiatives aimed at digitization,” she stated.
The minister emphasised the importance of developing capability and successfully directing the youth’s energies, stating that they were the nation’s greatest asset.
Shaza expressed gratitude to the private sector for its role in the digitization process and promised full government support to further their efforts.
Initiatives to support entrepreneurship and develop startup ecosystems were already underway, in line with the prime minister’s goals.
