Deputy Commissioner Zulfikar Ahmad, DPO Syed Ali Raza review arrangements at flour supply points

Bahawalnagar: Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Zulfikar Ahmad told the media along with DPO Syed Ali Raza said that 7 lakh 65 thousand 747 flour bags have been distributed to 3 lakh 11 thousand 941 families in the five tehsils of the district. Assistant Commissioner Chishtian Mohammad Amir and Tehsildar Khalid Mehmood told the media on the occasion of reviewing the arrangements at the free flour distribution center established in Chishtian Municipal Stadium that the distribution of free flour under the Ramadan package is a major initiative of the government.  Special arrangements have been made to maintain discipline at flour points and the process of flour supply is being completed in minimum time to avoid rush.  He said to cooperate with the civic administration to maintain order. He inquired about the facilities from the people who came to get flour and issued orders on the spot to redress the complaints. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner in Chak Madrasa and Bahawal Nagar visited flour centers at Sutlej Park, Hyder Stadium and General Bus Stand.  On this occasion, he said that the flour supply counters at distribution points across the district have also been doubled to provide more convenience to the public.
