Deputy Commissioner directs officials to improve public service delivery

Chiniot: Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza directed the Administrators/Assistant Commissioners, COs, Municipal Committees and District Councils to improve service delivery and redress the complaints of the citizens by responding promptly.  Mobilize crews to clean up all city areas.  Get the sewer lines de-silted.  The Deputy Commissioner strictly directed the officers of the Agriculture Department to inspect the fertilizer dealers on daily basis and check the record of sale purchase and ensure sale of fertilizer at the official rate.  Take strict action against overcharging and hoarders. Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments regarding Chiniot Biharan celebration that the spring festival will be celebrated in Chiniot with full spirit and the arrangements should be finalized.  He said that various events should be organized for the entertainment of Chiniot people, including Mushaira.  Musical night.  Sports event.  Exhibitions and other events are included.  Satiyaris should be completed in this regard.  The Deputy Commissioner said regarding the ongoing plantation campaign in the district that for the first time in the history of Chiniot district one lakh saplings will be planted in one day in which the district administration.  All line departments including Forest Department.  Police Department and Judiciary will participate fully.
