The national hockey teams of Pakistan and India showed immense sportsman spirit when they took the group photo at the ceremony after final of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
Both countries were declared victorious after rain did not allow the match.
In the picture, players of both teams took the photo together and mingling like a team as there was no separation between the players.
Tweeting the photo, cricketer Mohammad Hafeez wrote: “Picture for PEACE & LOVE, well done Pakistan & India Hockey.”
Further, retweeting the photo, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also praised the photo stating, “True sportsman spirit!”
The social media users also praised both teams for their spirit and respect for each other.
The photo emerged a day after when Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat has threatened Pakistan the same day Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) are observing a Black Day against Indian occupation of the valley.
“If Islamabad continues to back cross-border aggression, then the Indian Army will resort to take ‘other actions’ too,” he was quoted by The Times of India as saying while speaking to reporters on Saturday.
Gen Rawat, however, did not specifically detailed on what could be the likely action he was speaking about.
