On Monday, Baloch people, especially the youth, were urged by Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to seize the historic chance for prosperity in their province, as critics of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would soon become obsolete. Speaking at the opening of the Gwadar Seawater Desalination Plant and Pak-China Friendship Hospital, the prime minister stated that joining the development course would be a wise choice because the CPEC will undoubtedly move forward rather than backward. “People who believe that using violence, force, or any other tactic to sway the CPEC’s direction are making a historic error since their time will come to an end very soon. In light of the future of the country, it makes sense to cooperate with its development.
