According to the details given by the newly appointed District Police Officer Wasim Riaz in a meeting with the journalists in his office, the newly appointed DPO Wasim along with the President of the delegation of District Press Club registered Chiniot Shahid Mahmood Chaudhry and General Secretary Ghulam Murtaza. During the meeting with Riaz, DPO Waseem Riaz while talking to the journalists said that the doors of my office are always open for the people, getting control over crimes is my first priority. Media is the fourth pillar of the country. I always take the media along with me. You guys are our eyes, ears and nose. Please point out. We will ensure its implementation. I myself am visiting all police stations and meeting the plaintiffs in high profile cases I am trying to find out the facts. There will be a clear reduction in crimes. All SHOs have been ordered to register the cases of criminals including motorcycle theft. I believe in the delivery of justice as soon as possible.
