Constitution of Pakistan ensures complete freedom for minorities: Ayaz

On this auspicious occasion of Baba Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has sent warm greetings to the Sikh community in Pakistan and around the world.

Ayaz Sadiq emphasised in a statement Baba Guru Nanak’s teachings on equality, fraternity, peace, and love for all people.

He praised the Sikh spiritual leader’s contributions to interfaith cooperation, religious tolerance, and peace, all of which continue to motivate future generations.

Sikh pilgrims from all over the world who have come to Pakistan to take part in the festivities were cordially greeted by the Speaker.

They were reassured by Ayaz Sadiq that Pakistan will be welcoming and dedicated to supporting their religious endeavours.

“The complete freedom of minorities to live in accordance with their beliefs and perform their religious rituals is guaranteed by the Constitution of Pakistan,” he continued.
