General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), stated on Friday that obtaining economic stability was a prerequisite for achieving total independence.
Speaking at the Green Pakistan Initiative conference, the army commander reportedly said those things, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The goal of the federal government’s Green Pakistan Initiative is to introduce modern farming practices on 4.4 million acres of land throughout the nation. With the agricultural programme, the government aims to raise about $40 billion over the course of the next five years and anticipates creating four million jobs in the process.
With the support of friendly countries’ promised cooperation and the military forces, the project aims to transform agriculture. At the National Seminar on Food Security and Agriculture, it was officially launched.
