Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed reviews arrangements for matriculation exams

Sahiwal: The Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has finalized all the arrangements for the matriculation examinations 2023 and in the next phase, the process of training the superintendent of examination centers is also being started. Matric exams will continue from April 1 to May 10. Controller of Examinations Rana Naveed Azmat told this while briefing Chairman Board Sahiwal Shoaib Iqbal Syed regarding the arrangements in the Commissioner Office. He said that a multi-level checking system has been devised to make the examination process transparent, including deployment of resident inspectors and mobile inspectors, unannounced visits of chairman special squad and establishment of control centers at the district level. Commissioner Sahiwal, Chairman Board Shoaib Iqbal Syed expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and directed that a foolproof system of random inspection of all the centers should be devised and fans, cold drinking water and light should be provided to all the students appearing for the examination. Appropriate management should also be done. He also directed comprehensive arrangements for delivery and return of examination papers to the centres. Controller of Examinations Rana Naveed Azmat further informed that for the first time Sahiwal Board has integrated all centers under GIS system so that all information regarding the centers can be readily available. He said that by enforcing Section 144 within the limits of the examination centers, the gathering of unrelated persons will also be prohibited and in this regard, banners will also be displayed at each center.
