Ch Khurshid’s Rasm-e-Chehlum Held in Lahore

Lahore:(Special Correspondent) details, the fortieth rites of Punjab Home Department Director Parole Chaudhry Muhammad Khurshid was commenced on 11 April 2021. Columnist & Journalist Waqar Aslam’s grandfather-in-law Chaudhry Muhammad Khurshid’s Rasm e Chehlum was attended by social personalities, family members. Prayers were offered for the elevation of the deceased. Advocate Hafiz Muhammad Usama and Hafiz Muhammad Ahmar grandsons of the late were blessed with the recitation of Holy Quran. He continued to serve the country till the last moments of his life. He played a key role in making the teaching of the Qur’an compulsory. Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman HEC, Governor Punjab issued notifications in the light of his research, request and recommendations. Moreover, Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Khurshid’s sons Prof. Wasim Chaudhry, Muhammad Tanveer, Muhammad Farooq, Abdul Basit and son-in-law Malik Muhammad Hanif shed light on the bright aspects of his life.
