COAS, Saudi FM discuss bilateral cooperation in various sectors

General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, has reaffirmed his complete support for the Saudi delegation and expressed his hopes that the meeting will result in advantageous consequences for both countries.

He was speaking with Prince Faisal bin Furhan Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, who paid him a visit in Islamabad today.

Talks focused on shared goals and strategies to strengthen bilateral collaboration in a number of areas.

The distinguished guest emphasised the strategic and long-lasting character of the two countries’ relationship and the importance of looking into various options for the ongoing development of bilateral relationships.

The COAS responded by expressing gratitude for the delegation’s visit and reaffirming the historical ties of brotherhood between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
