COAS praises Pakistan-China strong military cooperation

GHQ in Rawalpindi hosted the 97th founding  anniversary of People’s Liberation Army of China’s .
Chief Guest of the event was His Excellency Jiang Zaidong, the People’s Republic of China’s ambassador to Pakistan.
Officers from Pakistan’s tri-services, Chinese Embassy representatives, and Defence Attaché Major General Wang Zhong were present.
General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, lauded the PLA’s commitment to China’s national development, security, and defence.
According to the army chief, there is unwavering relations between the Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army, as evidenced by the two armies’ strong ties and ongoing bilateral military cooperation, demonstrating the iron clad brotherhood between the two countries .

The Chinese ambassador on the occasion, stated that the Pakistani military has always been in the forefront of the fight against terrorism and has made significant sacrifices for the country’s and the region’s peace and stability.
