COAS Munir, UK army chief discuss closer defence relations

According to a statement released on Wednesday by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Patrick Sanders, the Chief of the General Staff (CGS) of the United Kingdom, and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir met.
The two sides talked about issues of professional interest and ways to improve bilateral defence cooperation, according to the military’s media wing.
This comes after both dignitaries spoke at the sixth Pakistan-UK Regional Stabilisation Conference’s inaugural session on Tuesday at Islamabad’s National Defence University. General Sir Roland Walker, the designate CGS of the UK Army, was also present.
